The Study entitled Registered Apprenticeship in Construction: Built to Last found:

• In 2020, out of a total of 275,324 registered apprentices in the US, 68.4% (188,452) of registered apprentices in the country were employed in construction.
• Individuals who completed a registered apprenticeship program earned $240,000 more over their working lives than similar individuals who did not take part in apprenticeship programs.
• Construction unions and their signatory contractors jointly operate 1,605 apprenticeship training centers across the U.S. via an investment of almost $2 billion per year.
