“North America’s Building Trades Unions (NABTU) and its 14 affiliated unions congratulate Commissioner Willie Phillips on his appointment as acting chair of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. Chair Phillips has long been an advocate who values both an all of the above energy approach and the middle-class sustaining jobs such an approach brings to the unionized construction workforce.

“His experience at both federal and state levels makes him a well-rounded leader who stands ready to tackle the complex challenges facing the energy industry.
