“North America’s Building Trades Unions congratulate Melissa Wells on her well-deserved win as a Delegate of Maryland’s 40th District. Her strong leadership and devoted commitment to apprenticeship has helped many Baltimore workers in underserved communities find family-supporting careers. Melissa’s bold advocacy for all communities continues to usher in progress, and now, the entire state of Maryland will reap the benefits from her smart policies and proven solutions.
“We also congratulate Cory McCray on his primary win for Maryland’s 45th District Senate seat. Cory is an exceptional public servant and has always been a hands-on leader and tireless advocate for working people. Hailing from the building trades, we know he shares our values and will continue to work with distinction on behalf of residents in the 45th District and throughout the state of Maryland.
