NABTU STATEMENT ON PROJECT LABOR AGREEMENT WITH TERRAPOWER FOR WYOMING NATRIUM REACTOR PROJECT

WASHINGTON, D.C. – March 3, 2025 – Today, North America’s Building Trades Unions (NABTU) President Sean McGarvey released the following statement:

“Today’s signing of the Project Labor Agreement with TerraPower for its Natrium reactor marks a massive step forward for America’s nuclear industry. Our partners at TerraPower are showing in real time how the transition to clean baseload energy can create value for the electric grid and ratepayers while ensuring workers are regarded as principal partners with strong middle-class, family-sustaining union jobs.
