“The Gateway Project is one of the most critical U.S. infrastructure investments to modernize our transportation systems, boost economic growth, and support tens of thousands of union construction jobs that sustain middle-class families across the Northeast. The prospect of this administration withdrawing federal support is deeply concerning. Walking away from this project would put American livelihoods at risk and set back essential infrastructure development at a time when we should be moving forward. We call on this administration to honor its commitment to America’s workers and ensure Gateway gets built.”
