Washington, D.C. – July 23, 2021 – North America’s Building Trades Unions (NABTU) President Sean McGarvey issued the following statement after NABTU’s meeting at the White House to discuss the bipartisan infrastructure proposal:

“North America’s Building Trades Unions appreciate participating in yesterday’s White House meeting to discuss the ongoing negotiations over the bipartisan infrastructure legislative package.  We applaud the diligent bipartisan commitment of the Biden-Harris Administration and Congressional members to pass critical infrastructure investments that would help all Americans and build this nation back better and stronger. While details are still being negotiated, our support of this vital bipartisan proposal remains strong, and we are eager to see this key piece of legislation pass and be signed into law as soon as possible.”
