“North America’s Building Trades Unions applaud the Department of Interior’s commitment to promoting and implementing the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law signed by President Biden last November. The Department’s continuous engagement with building trades affiliates and councils in communities across the country, shown most recently by Secretary Haaland’s trip to Alaska to meet with council leadership, demonstrates its sincere prioritization of rebuilding America’s infrastructure with more middle-class, family-sustaining union construction jobs. This is a priority we share, and NABTU will do all we can with DOI to maximize this investment to its fullest extent.”
