“This Labor Day, we honor the hands that build, the minds that innovate, and the hearts that keep North America moving forward. As we salute all the working families building and shaping the next chapter of North America’s story today, let’s remember who built America’s middle class. NABTU’s more than 3 million members aren’t just constructing roads, tunnels, and energy systems; we’re building opportunity for all and demanding fairness, safety, dignity, and a fair day’s pay for a hard day’s work.

“Lawmakers at every level must do more than march in parades and smile for cameras today. We need their leadership to support the middle class and sustain our communities. Labor’s story is America’s story, and we will keep that story alive by securing a stronger future for every worker, every family, and every community.”
